Range for the app to connect is within 10m. Some people like a dedicated gauge, but the bluetooth app suites me fine as I am not constantly checking.

I installed two rivnuts on the drivers side guard and bolted the smart shunt down, then because I was changing out my leadacid battery for a lithium (voltX) I had to add a battery post to the positive so I could use my existing positive connector.
